MSA offers ‘Green Ideas’ to hundreds of conference attendees

New City  NY -  For the fifth year in a row Michael Shilale Architects, LLP (MSA) exhibited their work at the statewide convention for New York State School Board Association (NYSSBA) members in New York City.   Along with some tasty green M&M's, visitors viewed some impressive 'Green Ideas' that save energy, save money and pay for themselves.

This year's winner of the $250 Library Grant goes to Rose Tobiassen, a Trustee with the Enlarged City School District of Middletown.

Over 200 school board members and staff from districts throughout the state stopped by to chat with us and participate in our drawing.

We discussed how our clients have successfully implemented the following strategies.

  • Capital improvements, such as roof replacements, boiler upgrades, and lighting retrofits at no cost to your taxpayers!
  • Replaced antiquated electrical service and have it pay for itself.
  • Solar panels, without the installation and maintenance costs!

The NYSSBA conference is geared to inform and educate school board members, and MSA is proud to support this effort and the clients we serve.  It was also an opportunity for us to meet school board members from throughout New York State.
