MSA tapped for Unique Energy Saving Contract

7.35 Million Capital Improvement Project OK's at Zero Cost to Taxpayers

An exciting, multi-million dollar capital improvement project - under the auspices of Michael Shilale Architects, LLP (MSA), a growing New City, NY architectural engineering firm - is about to begin construction in Rockland County.

The energy efficiency capital improvements for North Rockland's 10 schools (recently approved by NY SED) involved careful analysis of numerous factors. Boosted by Governor Cuomo's innovative clean energy and environmental initiatives, the resulting recommendations made by Michael Shilale Architects achieved cost-savings that will foot the bill for the entire project. Michael Shilale teaches Sustainable Housing and Building Green to the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors

 

Recently Michael Shilale, AIA, LEED taught a class in sustainable design at the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors, Rockland County Office. Michael Shilale believes integrating high performance design and technology can deliver incredible results at little or no cost. Titled "Sustainable Housing and Building Green, What Agents Should Know," agents explored sustainable strategies that save energy, reduce carbon emissions, and improve the relationship between our built and natural environment.
