12/01/2014: Michael Shilale Architects, LLP (MSA) has several recent waterfront projects that tested their design versatility. In southwest Florida, elevated flood levels and high wind loads challenged the architects as much as the clients' desire for a contemporary aesthetic.
Michael Shilale, AIA, LEED believes that design styles are to architecture what language is to poetry. Each client and project have their own needs, goals, dreams and desires. MSA listens carefully to the client and creates design solutions that speak to their particular requirements and aesthetic. Michael admits, "Some poetry sounds better in certain languages. These homes seem to speak eloquently in their contemporary language."
MSA uses Houzz, a web-based home design platform, to show off some of their residential work and uses their 'ideabooks' as a way to communicate design ideas with clients.
