24 bed intermediate care facility
Designed to meet the specific needs of residents with Alzheimer’s, this project’s goals were to assure safety and security for residents, support functional abilities, assist in wayfinding, prompt memory, support independence and facilitate social interactions while maintaining privacy. Michael Shilale created a building that features eight single bedrooms each with two windows, four bathrooms, and large window filled common spaces including two lounges, a dining room and recreational day room.
