And Announces $1,000 Media Grant Winner!
The 105th Annual New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) Convention and Expo took place this year in New York City, drawing more than 1,500 attendees from across the state. Since its founding in 1920, NYSSBA has been a trusted resource for school board members and educational leaders—providing essential information, training, and advocacy on the issues shaping public education. Through its partnerships with leading educational organizations, NYSSBA continues to promote excellence in school governance and leadership.
Celebrating over a century of collaboration and progress, the convention brought together educators, administrators, and industry professionals to share ideas and strengthen connections. Attendees had the opportunity to network with colleagues, explore innovative solutions, and gain valuable insights to help their districts thrive.

For more than twenty years, Michael Shilale Architects, LLP has proudly exhibited at the NYSSBA Convention and donated over $20,000 in grants to school districts. This year, our team was excited to once again share our extensive experience working with districts on projects such as Energy Performance Contracts, classroom renovations, athletic facilities, press boxes, and therapeutic pools. We take great pride in designing spaces that inspire learning, growth, and community.

As part of our ongoing commitment to education, MSA hosted its annual Media Grant Prize Giveaway during the event. We thank everyone who visited the booth and extend our congratulations to Salmon River Central School District, this year's $1,000 grant winner!
We look forward to continuing to help schools create more sustainable and engaging learning environments. Reach out to us to learn how MSA can support your district’s goals.
