5/3/18: At the Rockland Business Association’s Annual Recognition Award, we honored the many Rockland business leaders as well as our own Michael Shilale, receiving the coveted Pinnacle Awards. This was a great night to celebrate the present and future efforts of the many businesses in Rockland. The winners of each award are as follows:
Pinnacle Award for Service to the RBA: Michael Shilale of Michael Shilale Architects, presented by Donald Kennedy of Orange and Rockland Utilities.

The Chairman’s Pinnacle Award for Overall Business Excellence: Art Wagner and Alan Elkin of Active International, presented by Justin Schwartz of Atlantic Tomorrows Office.
Pinnacle Award for Advancing Tourism in Rockland County: Michael Bruno of Valley Rock Inn, presented by RBA President and CEO, Al Samuels.
Pinnacle Award for Outstanding Achievement by a Woman in Business: Deirde Ryder of VITS International, presented by Debra Boening of Oak Beverages and RBA Chair.
Pinnacle Award for Outstanding Achievement by a Non-Profit Organization: Brooke Malloy, Executive Director of Rockland PRIDE Center, presented by Paul Adler of Rand Commercial.
Pinnacle Award for Corporate Citizenship: Bassie Friedman of Marquis Home Care, presented by Mike Palermo of M&T Bank.
